A small list needs a clear promise.
What we collect
Your email address, city, province or region, and country are required. Your first name is optional. We also retain the date, time and wording of your consent so we can respect and document your communication choices.
Why we collect it
We use this information to manage the Building Circles waitlist, understand where interest is growing, consider possible future launch locations, send occasional project and launch updates, and invite people to relevant testing or early-access opportunities. Providing a location does not guarantee that Building Circles will launch there. Joining does not create a platform account.
Your consent
Waitlist emails will identify Building Circles and provide a working unsubscribe method. You may withdraw consent at any time. Unsubscribing stops future optional updates, although a limited suppression record may be retained to honour your request.
How we handle information
Waitlist information is not sold or used for behavioural advertising. Access is limited to people and service providers who need it to operate the waitlist. The current waitlist is hosted using ChatGPT Sites and its supporting infrastructure. Hosting and future email-service providers may process information outside Alberta or Canada, including in the United States.
Retention and safeguards
Information is retained only while reasonably needed for the waitlist and agreed communications, or as required by law. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no online system can promise absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to access or correct your information, withdraw consent, unsubscribe, or request deletion subject to applicable legal requirements. A working privacy contact will be added before public launch.
Legal framework
Building Circles is based in Alberta. Alberta privacy legislation may apply to activities within Alberta, while federal requirements may apply to interprovincial or international transactions and commercial electronic messages. This notice may be updated as the project, service providers and legal obligations develop.
